SIMPLE DANCE STEPS FOR KIDS TO LEARN AND DANCE (with video)

Verse

First step: Step close (8 counts)

Foot: Step left foot to the side and close back to the middle (repeat to the right foot).

Arms: Extend both arms to the side.


Second step: Shoulder point (8 counts)

Shoulder: Twist your body while moving and extending left shoulder in front (repeat to the right side)

Foot: Step left foot in front (repeat to the right side)


Third step: Side step, forearm parallel (16 counts)

Feet: Step left foot to the left, followed by the right foot to close. (4 counts)

Arms: Swing arms while moving to the left. Then, forearms parallel and front while alternately moving up and down. (4 counts)


Pre-chorus

Fourth step: Move hands up and down (8 counts)

Hands: Move left arm slowly up to the side (4 counts) and down (4 counts). Repeat to the right hand.

Feet: Step left foot to the left side (4 counts). Repeat to the right foot.


Fifth step: Move both hands up and down (8 counts)

Hand: Move both hands slowly up in front (4 counts) and down (4 counts)

Feet: Step left foot in front.


Chorus

Sixth step: Hands up, side and swing down (slow version)

Hands: Close fist, move left hand up (2 counts), right side (2 counts) then swing down and up (4 counts). Repeat to the right hand.


Sixth step: Hands up, side and swing down (fast version)

Hands: Close fist, move left hand up (1 count), right side (1 count1) then swing down and up (2 counts). Repeat to the right hand.


Seventh step: Move hands up, down and side. (8 counts)

Hands: Close fist, move left and right hand alternately upward (4 counts), and alternately sideward (4 counts)

Feet: Point heel alternately in front (8 counts)


Bridge

Eighth step: Side step, jump twice (8 counts)

Arms: Right hand to swing from the left side to right side (2 counts). Raise left hand up and do two pump movement (2 counts)

Feet: Step left foot the left side and right foot to follow and close (2 counts). Jump twice (2 counts)


Ninth step: Cross step (8 counts)

Arms: Move forearms alternately up and down to the side of the body (4 counts going the left, 4 counts going to the right))

Feet: Cross step going the the left (4 counts going to the left, 4 counts going to the right)
